Our Mission

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Mission San Gabriel Arcángel was founded in 1771 and continues to serve as the cornerstone for the Catholic faith community in Los Angeles County. We are a richly diverse parish stewarded by the Claretian Missionaries of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and called to respond to the needs of our community through love, justice and peace.

Donors

We would like to thank the over 1000 donors who gave generously to our Fire Restoration Fund.  Thanks to your generous donations, we have successfully raised over $400,000 towards much needed upgrades to our roof, electrical, and fire safety not covered by insurance.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Hilton Los Angeles/San Gabriel, the San Gabriel Mission parish community celebrated the 250th anniversary of the founding of Mission San Gabriel Arcángel, with a beautiful gala.
